LA Poetry Department was founded on a shared belief that there should be a better, more accessible way to create professional visual work in Los Angeles. We set out to build the studio we always wished existed: a thoughtfully curated photo and video studio in the heart of the Culver City Arts District, combining an elevated creative environment with an accessible price point.
Today, LA Poetry Department is both a creative studio and production partner, bringing photography, video production, creative direction, and brand storytelling together under one roof. From fashion and beauty editorials, brand campaigns, and short-form social media content, we help artists, entrepreneurs, businesses, and brands bring their ideas to life.
Our space offers multiple styled sets, backdrops, and professional lighting for photographers, videographers, and content creators to make their own. For clients looking for a more hands-on partnership, we also provide photography, video, and ongoing content production tailored to their goals.

THE FOUNDERS
Kevin Adorno is a photographer, creative director, and co-founder of LA Poetry Department whose work sits at the intersection of photography, culture, and brand storytelling. His experience spans sports, music, fashion, and lifestyle, working across photography and video as well as creative direction, graphic design, and visual identity. Kevin approaches each project with an understanding of both the image and the larger creative world it needs to live within.
